ABOUT SAC RIVER STABLES
We have been working hard since 1995 to build one of the Ozarks area's finest Equine and Equestrian facilities. Our stables have new boarding stalls with mats. We offer green, rolling pastures for pasture boarding your horse. We also have a lighted, outdoor riding arena, a tack room with a security system, 200 beautiful acres for horseback riding, and much more.
All horses at Sac River Stables have medical checks before they are accepted as clients. All prospective clients, and others interested in the equine industry, are welcome to visit the facility. Clients are free to use the facilities at any time (within reason).
The stable is set on a beautiful 200 acre horse farm, bordered by a river and a lazy Farm Road, yielding great on-site horseback riding. We are conveniently located only 5 minutes North of Springfield, Missouri, and for those that enjoy trail riding, we are only 5 minutes from the Frisco Highline Trail in Willard, MO.
ABOUT THE STABLE OPERATOR
Dawn O'Connor is a licensed CHA (Certified Horsemanship Association) Riding Instructor, a registered AQHA Professional Horseman, and she also carries American Red Cross First Aid and CPR Certifications. She is a graduate of Southwest Missouri State University, with a B.S. degree in Animal Science emphasizing Equine Science. Dawn has over 10 years of experience in the Equine Industry.
