Home School Riding Lessons

Students will have hands-on learning of grooming, saddling, bridling, and tying of horses.  Mounting, dismounting, horsemanship and equitation will also be practiced.  All lessons are taught by CHA certified riding instructors at a CHA accredited facility using well trained horses.

Horses, helmets, tack, and all other equipment will be provided in an indoor and outdoor riding arenas.

A required dress code of sturdy shoes with a raised heel, jeans or long pants, tucked in shirt, and helmet will be enforced for each rider.

Safety, education, and fun are the Stables’ goals.

  • One hour lessons are scheduled Tue-Fri at 2 or 3 PM.
  • Ages 8 and up can participate
  • $20 per lesson per student (family discounts available)
  • Lessons are purchased in packages at the beginning of each month for the weeks available during that month. 
  • The cost of purchasing just 1 home school riding lesson is $25 
Summer Day Camps!!!
Now enrolling for 2010 summer day camps. June 7-11: 8 AM-4 PM, $175, bring a sack lunch & drink June 14-18: 8 AM-4 PM, $175, bring a sack lunch & drink June 28-July 2: 8 AM to noon, $125 FAMILY DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE. Spots are filling quickly.
